How to use PayPal at Amazon

Know if PayPal account can be used at Amazon or not

 Step 1:

Start with the PayPal account.

In order to use PayPal, you must first register in your PayPal account. To sign up for a PayPal account, go to Send Money, Pay Online or Set Up a Merchant Account - PayPal and click on the "Register" button in the upper right corner of the screen. Select "My account", click "Continue" and fill in the required information. (If you already have an account, you can skip this step.)

Step 2:

Verify your PayPal account

Since everyone can sign up for a free PayPal account, PayPal has a special way to "verify" that users are who they say. To verify your account, you must add and confirm a bank account or credit card.

To add a bank account, open your PayPal account and go to the "Wallet" tab. In the "Bank accounts" section, click on the "Bank link" button. Select your bank from the list that appears. Select the type of bank account (check or savings) and enter the routing number of your bank and your account number and click "Accept" and "Link". PayPal will send you two small deposits. Check your bank account and enter the amount of these deposits. Go back to the PayPal site, go to the "Wallet" tab and look for the bank account you just linked. Click on "Confirm" to confirm this account. You will be asked to enter information about the deposit to confirm your account. You can also instantly confirm your account through the PayPal website to access your bank's website with information about your bank.

If you do not have a bank account or do not want to link your bank account with PayPal, you can also verify your account with a credit card. To do this, open your PayPal account and go to the "Wallet" tab. In the "Credit and Debit Cards" section, click on the "Link to Card" button. Select the type of card (debit, prepaid or credit) and enter the card number, the expiration date, the three-digit security code of the card and the billing address and click "Save". PayPal will make two small fees on your card. Review the summary of your card and look for the code next to each payment, return to the PayPal website and look for the card you just linked. Click on "Confirm" to confirm this card by entering the codes according to the rates. PayPal will reimburse you for the payment you made on your card and your account will be verified.

Step 3:

Upgrade to a Premier account

There are three types of PayPal accounts: Personal, Premier and Business. Initially, you will have a personal account, but you can switch to a Premier account or a commercial account for free. Premier and Business accounts offer more opportunities (for example, Premier and Business accounts allow you to accept payments on credit and debit cards, and a personal account does not), but they do not cost more or have additional fees.

If this sounds confusing, it is because it is before, Premier and Business had different tariff structures to personal accounts, but now all the rates are the same.

To go to your Premier account, log in to your PayPal account and click on the "Settings" button (it looks like a gear) in the upper right corner of the screen. This will take you to the configuration page of your account. In the "Account settings" section, you will see the "Update to a Premier account" link. Click on this link and follow the instructions on the screen to update your account for free.

Step 4:

Register to obtain a PayPal debit card.

After you have a verified Premier account, sign in here to register with PayPal Business Debits MasterCard. Verify some of your personal information and click Continue. On the next screen, make sure all your details are correct and click "OK" and "Continue" (you should probably read the agreement of the PayPal Business Debit MasterCard owner before clicking).

Step 5:

Buy on Amazon

You can now use your Business MasterCard Debit Card from PayPal where MasterCard is accepted, and includes Amazon. Simply enter a debit card as a payment method when you go to Amazon and the funds will be credited directly from your PayPal account (or a linked bank account if your PayPal balance is zero). You will also receive 1 percent of the cash for the purchase right.
